PM me for details. I'm absolutely not trying to solicit business but my firm has the exclusive marketing agreement with this development. I can put you in touch with the head Broker of the whole thing. They just made the announcement to us in our monthly office meeting about two weeks ago.

You can receive info straight from the horses mouth if you know what I mean.

I'm not sure of the details. I know there will be 3 different villages each with its own entry. Also its a golf course community with mixed use included. Shopping, etc..

The developer is from the NY area and they are predicting that 60-70% of the buyers will be flying down from up north to pick lots. French Country, English Tudor design from everything that I have seen.

Anyone know of the status of this development?

I'm not looking to purchase, I'm in the business and was wondering of others opinions.

It looks like it may have some real issues.

Right in/Right out off a major highway (24/27) and the proximity to the coming Wal-Mart looks like it could be a huge issue.

Anyone else local have info or opinions?

Locust is a really up and coming area from what I've heard. We looked into a while ago too. Good Luck!

The Villages of Red Bridge and the Super Wal-mart did a co-development deal. The developer is from Long Island (last I heard from the RE agent), and is co-located next to the high traffic for Super Wal-Mart while cramping Rocky River Vineyards (nice folks and wine). Also a wonderful U-turn stop light has been installed, great planning people. Be advised driving through Locust is now a 25 mph speed limit not 35 anymore.

I hope it works out for everyone. It's great that they are still building; hopefully it will help out the local economy a little!
