I was so bummed, we took our friends to the Biltmore last month (out from Cali) and we were getting ready to do the tour and tasting when the fire alarm went off! We waited for about 10 minutes and then left. Didn't even get to go into the wineshop.

I've got one better than that Nancy, we were leaving the home at the Biltmore, to go to the winery, and my mom slipped of the bottom step and sprained her ankle. THe first responders there were excellent, and then we left and dropped her off and cmc-pineville, ( i had 5 kids in the car to drop off home) That was last week, and she is doing better

Went to harris teeter and picked up the Biltmore wine.

There is a winery over by Statesville area that has really good Muscadine wine, which is a pretty local type sweet wine.

and I totally hi five the suggestion on the pottery
