I am finally settled from our move and all is good with the family. I would like to get involved with a local theater. It has always interested me. Does anyone have any suggestions ?

Here are two that you might look into. I have never been to either one:

If you're interested in acting, you may also find volunteering for the Blumenthal Performing Arts Center fun and rewarding. I am a volunteer usher and I choose to work the shows I want to see. There are a wide variety of shows from which to choose since it includes performances in the Belk Theater, Booth Playhouse, McGlohon Theatre, Duke Energy Playhouse and Stage Door Theater, all uptown. Belk Theater is also in need of volunteer tour guides.

I love helping out and seeing the shows for free! Here's more info if you're interested.
