Thanks, kmway.

(I'd rather dignify your response with a "thanks" than his with a, well, different response.)

...also a trip to "chucky Cheeses" cost over a $100 nowadays for an hour. Then they seem like they are pushing you out the door for the next group.

GirlTravels, don't listen to him. It's YOUR daughter's birthday...LIVE IT UP & HAVE A GREAT TIME!!

I have done it all for my son's birthdays....Big Bird & Barney, arts & crafts, bowling, tae-kwon-do, movies, Nascar speed park, a baseball game, an amusement park twice...we all had a good time, even the adults! Our favorite was his 9th b-day. It was a "Survivor" theme at a small amusement park in CT near where we lived. All the kids got a map of the park with all the rides on it. They had to "survive" going on 9 rides in order to get their "immunity idol" which was a plastic tiki glass full of candy & stuff. I made the cake & had gummy worms & plastic creepy-crawly stuff stuck in it. We had a blast!

Go for it girl...they're little for only a short while!!!!

I was in there for something else I needed a dessert to take to a cover dish dinner they had these almost these 3 inch long brownies made with coconut and caramel a dozen for 12.75. They was nice enough to cut each slice into 4's so I could serve more.
They also had good selection of breakfast pastries. Stop in there one day they serve caribou coffee. Places like that are TROUBLE ..now I need a snack hehe

Oh gosh thanks for telling me that..........I'm never gonna lose weight here

thanks for all the great ideas! I'm going to check out these places and the party place at Rosedale.

And no worries, I fully intend to enjoy our bash... heck, maybe I'll even get Capital Grille to send up some of those $1,000 martinis for the grownups

Partyland in rosedale is OK but I think it's quite expensive and small. I like the store in Mooresville in the Target plaza (exit 33), I don't remember what it's called, but as long as you can find Target, you'd be fine. That store is cheaper and has a much larger selection, IMHO.

I agree, and the store name is Party City in Mooresville. I want to hear an update on the cake and a pic, please.
