me neither! I went through there a couple of times recently and thought it was going to be a really nice neighborhood and did not like it at all.

Are you just looking online or going to the neighborhoods? Everything online looks so much different. I do like Northstone but am very happy we did not buy there...a little too far out for me and I hated Huntersville Elementary ( as do many mom friends I have that went/go there..most of my friends have moved, homeschooled or gone private)

Cambridge Grove is nice but I wouldn't want to be that close to the new strip mall and traffic getting in and out of there can be tough.

I actually love our neighborhood for convenience..we live in Oakhurst in the back off of Washam Potts so we can walk to school, take cooking classes, go out to eat in our neighborhood, our dentist is in our neighborhood as well, plus we are so convenient to shopping and going to Davidson. It is so central! We also have a very active neighborhood with lots of kids and wonderful families. I'm going to be a bit sad to leave it (and our house that we love!!!)

For schools in this area I think ours is one of the best (I still prefer our schools up north where we are from but for here )

Good luck

the only problem with that is that there are so many new schools here and they aren't very well represented on that site yet (such as ours since it is in its first year)

Oh..look for schools that don't have *quiet lunch* IMO..kids that aren't allowed to talk for 80% of their lunch period is insane (quiet is for first 20 of the 30 minutes..sometimes it is during the whole time) I would rather my child not eat as much and be able to socialize and have fun since so much of the fun is taken away from kids in all schools now days with the amount of work they are expected to do at an early age We don't have quiet lunch thankfully!!
