I just wish the drivers on Mallard Creek would adhere to the rules. There's no reason to unexpectedly hold up lanes of traffic when it's not necessary to do so.

Mallard Creek doesn't have a median does it? if it doesn't, folks should stop.

ETA: Maybe you are referring to the section that has a turning lane near the elementary school.

From the guide book "Children waiting for the bus or leaving the bus might dart out into traffic. Even when the school bus is not in sight, children at a bus stop sometimes will run into the street unexpectedly. Always be careful around school buses and school bus stops."
