I have looked into Mooresville already but just recently thought about Huntersville too...
We are coming from WI - not planning on working in the city (Charlotte)
but do have a son that will be starting college this Sept - (not sure where yet - all depending on where we are living) and a daughter that will be in 5th grade.
Our price range for a house is $150-175,000....I would like newer if possible....
need to be arounds shops/grocery stores etc (I cant be way out in the country)
Thanks in advance..
Jodi
I think Huntersville is good if anyone has to commute into Charlotte. The commute is much quicker from exit 23. Otherwise, Mooresville is beautiful, too.
I think the OP said s/he wasn't wasn't working uptown... so I'd say either Mooresville, Huntersville, or anywhere in between would be good. I personally live in Huntersville but also like Davidson quite a bit and have heard good things about Davidson Elementary for the fifth grader.

Reason: correct info
Just do not ever get a job uptown, schools are better up there and he has an acre to roam around.
