It doesn't officially begin until August 6th, but the wheels are already in motion. I passed through Dunlap today and in the center of town there are already a few venders set up and there also a few are set up about 1 mile north of town by the rock yards. Several tents are up and temporary buildings being put up along the route. I saw quite a few vender trucks and trailers just parked in various parking lots getting ready to unload. Looks like this will be the weekend for some sellers who want to get a jump start.

For any of you that plan to set up a table of your own, there are several places available and signs all over the place advertising space, so that is not a worry. Just find a place with shade.

This has been a public service announcement!

My mom, my sister and I came to TN for this sale this year and enjoyed it. We had to stay in Harriman because all the hotels in Crossville area were booked, but that was okay. We drove from Crossville up to Jamestown doing the yard sales. I didn't buy anything. My sister got a beautiful quilt. It was fun.
We were afraid to try the fried pies Maybe next year
