It's pretty simple. The big chill has an equal mix of gay and straight patrons. Most restaurants have a mostly straight clientelle. Walk into any other restaurant in Chattanooga and you MIGHT find a gay couple or two, but at the Big Chill, it's pretty close to 50/50. I thought the post was pretty obvious, and no, there isn't a gay section or a straight section. It's just rare in Chattanooga to have so many gay men and women together in a restaurant that is not a gay bar, like Images, or Alan Golds.

Congrats on the Big Chill score lol Our UPS driver got outed there in a good way and she's still in love That girly was so cute I think I was a 1/2 pointer that night If me and my suspected gay furniture salesman show up what's the score then? Can we have 1/2 points? LOL I need a night out, let's do it!

We should all meet there for lunch or dinner this weekend! Set the time and day. Sunday would be good for us.

Thanks for the reply. I work with a lot of gay people but I am a hetero, baby producing lady that doesn't always "know" who all is straight and gay at work. Mostly because I am too tired from keepin' up with my young'ns. Anyway, I have one gay friend at work in particular that I adore. One day I mentioned the name of a guy at work, having something to do about work, and my gay friend said "Who him? That big fairy with the pixie dust trailing behind him a mile long that is too afraid to come out of the closet?". I was flabbergasted and shocked and couldn't believe that the guy was gay. To which my friend said, "hon, your gaydar just isn't as good as mine and I can spot a queen a mile away". So, I will take you at your word that half the people in the restaurant were gay. I am sure I would be too immersed in the meal decision to even notice. And thanks for taking my question at face value; never too old to learn

Smokymtngal, you should meet us up there too. The more the merrier. So far nobody has gotten back with us for a date and time yet though. Maybe next week we can all meet there for a snack, lunch or dinner.

I would love to u4 and thank you for the kind invite. I rarely make it down to Chattanooga.
