If someone gets a new Camaro and they don't want it and are trying to make it into something it is not............ I'll take it off their hands. Hate to see a good car ruined like that. I like Firebirds as well.......... but hate seeing a car that is original ripped into pieces to be an imposter of something it is not. Now if someone wants to contact that junkyard in Baton Rouge w/ the totalled new Camaro and use parts of that to make one.........okay.

Considering the previous gen Camaro and Trans-Am shared the same drivetrain, interior bits and various other components I don't think it's too far of a stretch to take the current Camaro and do some surgery. The only difference is the sheet metal. I certainly wouldnt be the one to do it, but it's not nearly as bad as taking a Fiero and throwing a Lamborghini body on it. To be clear, I still think the rendering in the first post is awful.
