Must be a wonderful place to live.

Naperville, Ill. Naperville’s annual holiday card usually features a familiar location from the city — the Riverwalk, the Carillion or another easily recognizable staple of the western suburb.

This year, the card that’s sent to the likes of President Obama, Mayor Daley and neighboring municipalities will showcase the citizens of Naperville — and everyone’s invited.

Odd, thought Naperville was "broke" when they tried to lay off 6 Cops in a very underhanded manner. Guess they have money for important things such as Christmas cards.

Funny how government has money for stupid nonsensical things when they can't pay for snow removal, road salt and other things that actually matter.

Naperville is the most self-praising, self-centered, self-promoting and phony town there is.

Do you live in a self-loathing town? [If your town is not praising its accomplishments, they are doing you a disservice. If you gain a good rep, good things come your way. Since there are thousands of cities in our country, you only stand out by promoting yourself.

Nah. Pick one: Winnetka,Wilmette,Kenilworth,Glencoe tops it except for the self-promoting. None of those towns really want anyone else to move in. They want keep everything in the families so to speak.

One that can top Naperville on all fronts is Oak Park!

The photo looks pretty cool, I was curious to check it out to see what they did. There are a few options on the website, but this was my favorite:

They must have had a pretty good idea of how many people were coming, as it looks like they planned the size of the message pretty well. One sad thing it does is show how flat our state is...

What is wrong with flat? Are there not like 20 other states that are flat as well?
