I am thinking of going to either La Lumiere School in La Porte or Lake Forest Academy in Lake Forest
Where should I go?
Which town is nicer?
Which is closer to major cities

Chief Justice of the SCOTUS, John Roberts, attended La Lumiere School, if that is of any interest to you. I do hope you gave greater weight to the curriculum of the 2 schools than to a city-data poll in making your decision.

My son was a boarding student and graduated from LFA in 2008. The area is one of the most beautiful and safest places in Illinois. The school is a former mansion, curriculum is excellent and the hockey rink is off the chain. I don't know anything about La Lumiere, but I would strongly recommend that you visit LFA.
