The town is too far gone for that. In the early 2000's, maybe, but not now. The thugs are there to stay unless Chicago takes them back, which btw will never happen.

Chicago is to blame for the precense of CC Hills thugs? Really? You don't think they may have came from Harvey, Riverdale, Ford Heights or were even born and raised right there in CC Hills?

For someone who trashes the south suburbs as crime-infested cesspools, it's interesting how little credit you give the south suburbs for BREEDING thugs.. I guess you can raise kids in CC Hills and they won't ever turn into thugs. Just don't raise them in Chicago.

The south suburbs aren't bad because they're black. They're bad AND black. Have you checked the test scores and school report cards for any of the south suburban high schools? A school with an average ACT score of 15 is NOT good at all. I still don't understand why you people act like its some utopia in the southern suburbs. You all need to have higher standards and expectations.

I feel that way sometimes, living in the south suburbs and working in Gary. However, I then realize that I'm still a privledged white American and I get over it.

The average ACT score for TF South high school is 18.5. An acceptable score for a university is at least 23. Anything you have to say about that?
