Is it west of Green Bay? US 41? Waukegan?

I've been reading about this East LF vs. West LF debate and I was curious as to what constitutes the border.

Yea probably west of Green Bay. Granted it's all still affluent.

West of Green Bay would put all the homes on the grounds of Onwensia, and all the estate homes off Ridge on the west side. I'd vote for west of Waukegan.

But there are those who think anything west of Sheridan is WLF.

As you can tell from the answers, there is no real boundary. I'd say anything west of Hwy 41.

That's what I thought. From this thread alone I can see it's highly subjective. I guess if you live right on the lake you're safely in East LF.

The easiest way to tell between East and West Lake Forest is the difference in street lights, roads, and architecture. You'll see a lot of newer subdivisions in West Lake Forest, whereas in East Lake Forest you'll see many older subdivisions and additions.
