Are those Mexican grocery stores ethnic or neighborhood stores?

Are neighborhood stores more like those small corner stores?

not sure, i voted for the former... obviously in some cases they overlap, yeah you might be able to get tomatillas and cactus at the mexican one, and 5 kinds of dal at the indian one, but a lot of the product overlaps, especially if you just need a few things like orange juice and some paper towels. I go some places just b/c of people working there and want to talk a bit.
