Logan Square and Bucktown are the start of the Northwest Side. They are considered the Near Northwest side to be exact.

Again, you are spewing an opinion with NO BACKUP!

Here's a blurb from the official city of Chicago website...

City of Chicago :: Near Northwest Side Plan

"The Near Northwest Side Plan addresses ongoing changes to the Fulton River District, Eckhart Park, Noble Square, East Village and Ukrainian Village neighborhoods. Its focus involves public open space and transit, development guidelines for new construction, and techniques to promote livability in the great community area."

Well since neighborhoods such as Wicker Park, Noble Square, Ukrainian Village, etc are in a community area named "West Town" that seems to be proof enough they are on the West Side, does it not?

Dude, wake up, if you draw a line DIRECTLY northwest of State & Madison approximately 1.5 miles north and 1.5 miles west, you are CLEARLY north west.
