I have been looking to move to Oak Forest. I was looking in the fieldcrest area. Is it a nice area? The homes are cheaper there then in any other part of Oak Forest? Why is that? It looks clean, and safe. Also there seems to be a lot of homes for sale in this area. When I get my MLS listings over half of the homes are in Fieldcrest. Is this area changing for the worst? Is this the beginning of change?

The fieldcrest neighborhood of oak forest is very nice with east access to 57 and to Cicero. The prices range is around $200,000-$300,000. I would actually think this neighborhood is staying nice and not changing like most Chicago suburbs, including parts of oak forest. But I would recommend Matteson or Tinley Park over fieldcrest just because they are surrounded by better neighborhoods.
