I am visiting in late August with my girlfriend and I was wondering if anyone has any suggestions on where to grab some decent oysters?

We will be staying in the River North area so anything close to there is preferable.

Not looking for anything to fancy but open to all suggestions.

We are from Kansas City so we are not expecting anything too crazy, I just really like oysters and wanted to see if there was anything close to where we are staying.

GT is definitely good. The Publican also has excellent oysters.

Thirded on GT, particularly since it's right in River North. Also, they sell them half-price after 10pm.

For small, fine-dining quantities (only three oysters), the oyster plate at Naha is also quite good. Elate has oysters, but I would actually anti-recommend them - they don't really seem to know what they're doing with them.
