I Grew up In Chicago In the Albany Park area I think.
I'm not to sure the exact name of the neighborhood. I remember Lake Michigan,Gompers Park, Eugene Field,Volta School. I want to bring my kids to see where I grew up. Is it safe in that area like the 3700 block of Lawrence Ave.
Any replies would be wonderful

Plenty safe. I live in 60625 (albeit on the Eastern edge in Lincoln Square). That area of Albany Park is predominantly hispanic these days and plenty safe.

You'll be fine. I lived around the 3400 block of Lawrence about 5 years ago and never had any problems. I was just up there again this summer and it seemed fine to me.

Not a lot going on in that area. The most interesting thing about it is that it's part of Koreatown; also considerably Hispanic these days, plus a small Middle Eastern pocket centered around Lawrence and Kedzie. Some nice houses and neighborhoods just south of Lawrence and east of Kimball. All things considered, you shouldn't have any problems bringing your kids there.

I would NEVER go to the 3700 block of Lawrence! 3600 or 3800 are perfectly fine. Never the 3700 block though!

I used to live in 60625! It's still fine.

I miss it so much.
