Sure, but some of them are pretty normal. You'd be surprised every once in awhile. I hate stupid/annoying drunk people but I've been surprised a few times. But you know, meetups and events, clubs, etc are way better

People in Chicago are friendly and down to earth. The only thing I would say is don't expect them to come to you, but if you reach out to them most of the time I think you will get a positive response.

Although I wasn't born here, I was raised here for most of my life, but I never willingly talk to a stranger (unless maybe I am drunk) but if a stranger approaches me and is friendly I certainly will go with it and interact with them. From my experience, that is how most Chicagoans are.
