Being somewhat frugal, I have never had much success with Chicago women. A big problem I have is the cost to keep one happy. For example, a typical weekend involves:

It's not cheap, but any girl who wants every single meal to be expensive and fancy after you've been in a relationship for a little bit is not worth it. My experience at least, even with a girl who was half a gold digger whom I went out with for 6 months wasn't like that. She was happy with a $15-$25 meal just as much as a $100 one.

You're going out with the wrong women if this is your issue. There are a lot of low maintenance women out there who can take care of themselves and don't expect extravagant meals and entertainment every weekend. But if you'd rather just have an escort and not a meaningful relationship, then go for it.

Why would you have to even go out every weekend? A quite weekend at your place or hers, order a movie, order take out, or either of you cook. Do you absolutely have to see each other every weekend or be together the entire weekend. I'm sure each of you have friends that you can do things with, she can go out with the girls some weekend and you can hang out with the guys at a bar or something. I guess if you have started her out with weekends like this, this is what she will be expecting all the time. If you have to break the bank to keep her happy then you need to hurry up and marry her, sounds like it will cheaper in the long run. Or find yourself a girl who appreciate the simple things in life who don't have to have all that to be happy.
