Another CTA pet peeve of mine (sorry this one is about passengers) is people who don't take off their back pack on a packed bus, they take up extra space, take them off. Today dud comes on bus from rain and he's rubbing his wet backpack on my dry shirt, a*#hole, open ur eyes and realize the other people!
Nothing irritates me more than this also when people crowd in the front of the bus near the door and don't want to move when someone is trying to get off at a particular stop,

I'm relieved to hear I'm not the only one.

OK so i get why its better for traffic flow when the bus lets you out 3 bus lengths from the corner.

It just seemed like when it was pouring rain, I was not looking forward to walking any more than I had to. Guess it might not seem so hard from some here.

Am I being a wussy for wanting the bus to stop closer to the bus stop so i don't have to walk as far in the snow or rain? You know how those curbs can get when the rain or snow accumulates there and when you know when the rain is pouring down you will have to walk that much more in it?
