Well the west side of it has Mexican gang bangers and the east side of it has White hipsters.

And the South end Puerto Rican.

Alderman Moreno opening up the twin towers near the California Blue Line, where studios go for $1,500 and 2 bedrooms go for $3,500 a month. And the Hispanic people are protesting, due to unwanted gentrification.

It feels more diverse to me than the other neighborhoods, not just in terms of ethnicity but also age/dress/culture/restaurants/nightlife/etc. However, your point is well taken and I'm sure that's all going to slowly fade away.
