We are somewhere between the 3rd and 4th statement here. Once the hard times waylay Progressive's pocketbooks, they will suddenly not care as much about being so inclusive.
I've never heard that quote before. VERY wise. Do you know who this was contributable to?

So what would you do if...you didn't care about the ballot box for some reason? That's right. More of the same.

Inability to answer it doesn't make it non sensical

You bolded a portion of a quote from Kmanshouse. Obviously your question was related to this. The question asked based on this highlighted comment was non sensical.

No, I bolded that in my original post.

Here is where the quote is from.

About 64,100,000 results (0.52 seconds)
“Hard times create strong men, strong men create good times, good times create weak men, and weak men create hard times.” The quote, from a postapocalyptic novel by the author G. Michael Hopf, sums up a stunningly pervasive cyclical vision of history.

Woke means (to me):

a) Spending a huge proportion of one's time and energy focused on the 0.5% of the trans population (or the 3-5% who are LBGTQ)
b) overpromoting non-white interests, to the point it's someone's personality trait or job

I went to my Kindle to see what my next book should be - and 75% of the books listed were focused on LBGTQ or black people's themes. I have zero issue offering those options, but I had to pick through the list just to find the few that were not.

There is a big overcompensation going on. And I think over time it will fade, naturally.

I mean, I hardly know anybody that even cares if someone is gay. Once that effect was gone, the movement was to trans. I think now they are finally out of counter-culture groups to focus on.

Kmanshouse, good morning,

It reminds me of the Louis C.K. joke about how it was "trendy" to identify as a vegetarian... And then you MADE SURE everyone knew you were a vegetarian, and you always made sure your discussion was about being a vegetarian, etc.

And then, when that was a "popular" term to be a vegetarian, then, guess WHAT??????

People became VEGANS!!!!!

And then they had to go on and on about how they were separate from vegetarians, and

yadda, yadda, yadda.
