Government? Hell nah! I mean if we talk specifically about the woes of the black underclass, only the black middle class could fix the black underclass. The term "divesting" is tossed around by academics quite a bit, but what that actually was was upwardly mobile blacks moving out of black neighborhoods, leaving the poor behind.

That why when I hear Brandon Johnson living in Austin, I respect that.

Is he doing anything actively to help or improve his neighborhood? Seems like during the campaign he just wanted to talk about the negatives.

I see you have fallen for the CTU bull****. I remember CPS was thriving when Vallas ran it. Balanced budget, pensions funded, enrollment growing, student achievement improving.

Johnson's achievement to date is not paying his water bills.

I remember he converted a lot of public schools in Philadelphia and Louisiana to charter schools. It wasn't CTU that convinced me it, was CNN and the mainstream media as well as CRT courses.

Me too and New Orleans schools have never been better.
