Bozo has died. Larry Harmon, longtime Bozo the Clown, dies - Television - MSNBC.com Did any of you have as happy of memories as I did watching Bozo when I was little.

I took my daughter and her friend to the show in the 90's. I think by then Larry had already retired.

RIP, Bozo. I still remember Cuddly Dudly and the Grand Prize Game. I wanted to win that Schwinn biclycle and the $50 so badly!

That is incredibly sad, sad news. Great memories of this man and his great sense of humor and timing. Those who were fortunate enough to have grown up watching WGN as children during the "Golden Age of Children's Television" in Chicago will continue to have fond memories of Bozo.

May he rest in peace.

To clarify, Larry Harmon was the premier Bozo-trepeneur, but for the purposes of this forum the late Bob Bell was Chicago's longtime Bozo on WGN-TV, replaced later by Joey D'Auria.

Yeah Bob Bell is the Bozo I watched as a kid for many years and for a few years (including went I to the show) Joey D'Auria.

Sorry to hear about the death of a legend in Chicago. Bozo provided a great deal of joy during the childhood of millions and for our children as well.
