Yesterday was amazing. I was in town for the weekend, catching a Sox game on Saturday and Cubs on Sunday. Sunday was absolutely amazing.

Yesterday was really lovely. Spent a couple hours at the Bucktown Arts Fest, and a couple more perusing the rummage sales in the area.

If you think we're heading into a period of global cooling (I do) there will be more of these very temperate summers in coming years. But winters will be harsher and longer as well....like the ones I remember growing up in Chicago in the '60's.

Very nice weather indeed. Too bad we don't get that many days like this here, so I really do try to enjoy them when the weather decides to do something other than be miserable which is usually the case here. But yes both yesterday and today, glorious days, glad I was able to get outside to enjoy them.

Actually the weather has been pretty nice all summer. (Except for that monsoon a few weeks ago)

nice is subjective and i respect you for that. but going by record, this summer has only had 4 days over 90 degrees in comparison to the average of 15 days per summer. that's waaaay too chilly for my liking.

This WHOLE week? It's Tuesday...

75 today, 80 tomorrow, 85 Thursday, low to mid 80s this weekend. Weird to think that what we should be complaning about is the lack of rain!
