RIP good buddy. What a good couch and great color commentator. He was a decent player as well.

How sad. I used to see him on the BN train from time to time. He certainly was a Chicago favorite. RIP

That's tough. I didn't know who he was until his tribute the other night, but it was obvious that night how big of an impact he had on the city and the Bulls.

These three recent deaths make me very sad.
A friend of mine did stats for the Bulls for years, so I had the pleasure of meeting "Stormin' Norman" and Red, both class acts who will be missed.

What a sad day to be a Chicago Bulls fan. I cannot say that I know either of them personally and am too young to know them as players. I know Johnny Red Kerr as a Bulls icon who has done the game since as long as I can remember. His ceremony two weeks ago was great. It was sad at the time because I knew he was no longer doing the games because of health issues but I did not know about hit cancer. He did not look too good two weeks ago and I read that his ceremony was scheduled for April but they moved it up because they were worried if he would be around. Unfortunately, he won't be.

When you watch the games as a fan, you start to feel like you do know these guys. I mean, I'm sitting there listening to the two of them and getting excited just like they are when the Bulls win or do something good. Conversely, just as when they are down and upset when the Bulls do something bad, I feel the same. You get a connection to guys like that. A sad day for all Bulls fans and their organization.
