I'll be between ORD & downtown on Sunday. Any coffee shop with free wireless NOT names Starbucks or Caribou that's open on Sunday?

I'm not even sure how to respond to this.

I never really thought about any of these questions... Has anyone ever had a problem, finding a coffee shop open on a Sunday? I haven't, even if it wasn't Starbucks or Caribou.

It's all very confusing. And I don't think it "counts" if you specify that it has to be "indie".

There is a great new place on the South East corner of Milwuakee and Logan Ave. Forget the name of it. Real gem. Friendly staff, quiet music, old school nintendo...

I like this place. It's close to the train stop and always has interesting clientele to people watch.

"Downtown" and "Indie" don't really go together. You're not one of those people who calls the entire City of Chicago "downtown", are you?

But, if you're really looking for something in the Loop or River North, there's an Intelligentsia on Randolph just east of Marshall Fiel... er, Macy's. It may not have an Indie vibe, but they are a local roaster who consistently ranks in the top ten nationally. And it seems like those Argo Tea joints are popping up everywhere, but they could be the next Starbucks (not "Indie" at all).

If you're looking for something that's just in the city on the North Side, you can finds ton of independent coffee shops between O'Hare and the Loop. Just walk around anywhere between Logan Square and downtown (Logan Square, Bucktown, Wicker Park, Ukranian Village) and you'll trip over coffee shops. And I don't know where you're from, but Illinois doesn't restrict the sale of hard Coffee on Sundays. We're a crazy loose freewheeling state that way, I guess.

I'm not sure it has a name yet. I've been in there a few times and I don't think there's a sign over either the Logan Blvd entrance or the Milwaukee Ave entrance. Good place though for sure.
