Here's a couple of recycling stops to see...Look through my eyes for a moment and see what I see throughout the day. 6 to 9 tons daily we pack on each Recycling truck. Our company have a good exercise plan that they pay you to do daily, lol.

If I wasn't so passionate about teaching, and wanted to work outdoors, there is no way I'd turn down a garbage job. (is that what they call it?) Sounds like it's a fair deal.

The winter months are not so bad it's the Summer Months which is the worst, a combined smell of baby diapers, food and Maggots baking in the hot sun will stew up a horrible smell that makes me want to puke sometimes.
If possible I try to stay in front off them guys or turn off and go a different direction.
