No one can provide a verse that says you cannot accept Christ after death and be saved.

1Pe 4:6
For this is the reason the gospel was preached even to those who are now dead, so that they might be judged according to men in regard to the body, but live according to God in regard to the spirit.

The word here translated as "was preached" is "euEggelisthE" and according to the greek interlinear it should be translated as "is preached"

Will you answer my question?

You're right, there isn't any Scripture that says you can (or will) accept Christ after death.

There aren't any that say you can't either.

Well it is true you can't prove a negative. I just want scriptural proof that one can accept Christ after they die. So far nothing.

And I did address 1Pete4 in the OP. That was a one time deal when Jesus preached to the dead in Sheol before He rose again. Please see the OP.

Yes, Jesus did preach to the dead, but that was a one time deal prior to His assention. (1Peter 3&4)

Psalm 30:1-12 I will extol thee, O LORD; for thou hast lifted me up, and hast not made my foes to rejoice over me.
2 O LORD my God, I cried unto thee, and thou hast healed me.
3 O LORD, thou hast brought up my soul from the grave: thou hast kept me alive, that I should not go down to the pit.

Peace!

God is the same yesterday, today, and forever, so how do you know it was a one-time thing? Can you show scripture to say Jesus will never preach to the dead in Sheol again?

I think you speculated that Jesus can't preach to the dead again.

??? You're not serious. David didn't die at that point. He praises God for keeping him alive. Gads!

Is this the kind of proof texts that UR folk use?

Psalm 30

A psalm. A song. For the dedication of the temple. Of David. [a]

1 I will exalt you, O LORD,
for you lifted me out of the depths
and did not let my enemies gloat over me.

2 O LORD my God, I called to you for help
and you healed me.
3 O LORD, you brought me up from the grave [b] ;
you spared me from going down into the pit.
4 Sing to the LORD, you saints of his;
praise his holy name.
5 For his anger lasts only a moment,
but his favor lasts a lifetime;
weeping may remain for a night,
but rejoicing comes in the morning.
6 When I felt secure, I said,
"I will never be shaken."
7 O LORD, when you favored me,
you made my mountain [c] stand firm;
but when you hid your face,
I was dismayed.
8 To you, O LORD, I called;
to the Lord I cried for mercy:
9 "What gain is there in my destruction, [d]
in my going down into the pit?
Will the dust praise you?
Will it proclaim your faithfulness?
10 Hear, O LORD, and be merciful to me;
O LORD, be my help."
11 You turned my wailing into dancing;
you removed my sackcloth and clothed me with joy, 12 that my heart may sing to you and not be silent.
O LORD my God, I will give you thanks forever.

Everybody will confess, bow, and worship Christ. I believe these verses tell me enough about the end of all things.

Psalm 22:27-29
27 All the ends of the world Shall remember and turn to the LORD, And all the families of the nations Shall worship before You. 28 For the kingdom is the LORD’s, And He rules over the nations. 29 All the prosperous of the earth Shall eat and worship; All those who go down to the dust (dead people) Shall bow before Him, Even he who cannot keep himself alive.

Revelation 5:13. Then I heard every creature in heaven and on earth and under the earth and on the sea, and all that is in them, singing: "To him who sits on the throne and to the Lamb be praise and honor and glory and power, for ever and ever!"

1 Corinthians 15:22-26
22 For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ all shall be made alive. 23 But each one in his own order: Christ the firstfruits, afterward those who are Christ’s at His coming. 24 Then comes the end, when He delivers the kingdom to God the Father, when He puts an end to all rule and all authority and power. 25 For He must reign till He has put all enemies under His feet. 26 The last enemy that will be destroyed is death.

Romans 8:19-22. For the anxious longing of the creation waits eagerly for the revealing of the sons of God. For the creation was subjected to futility, not of its own will, but because of Him who subjected it, in hope that the creation itself also will be set free from its slavery to corruption into the freedom of the glory of the children of God.

1 Timothy 2:6
Who gave Himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time. (A lot of people die without ever hearing about Christ. So I am assuming this can happen after physical death)
