Every Christian should get exicited (and say Praise the Lord!) when the Beast and Antichrist arrive on the scene. Cuz it means the Lord's return is like in seven years.
Yet instead we get these fearful reactions, dire warnings as if Christians should fight agaist the Lord's return. Bring it on I say!
v1 Hear my voice, O God, in my prayer: preserve my life from fear of the enemy.
v2 Hide me from the secret counsel of the wicked; from the insurrection of the workers of iniquity:
v3 Who whet their tongue like a sword, and bend their bows to shoot their arrows, even bitter words:
v4 That they may shoot in secret at the perfect: suddenly do they shoot at him, and fear not.
v5 They encourage themselves in an evil matter: they commune of laying snares privily; they say, Who shall see them?
v6 They search out iniquities; they accomplish a diligent search: both the inward thought of every one of them, and the heart, is deep.
v7 But God shall shoot at them with an arrow; suddenly shall they be wounded.
v8 But God shall make their own tongue to fall upon themselves: all that see them shall flee away.
v9 And all men shall fear, and shall declare the work of God; for they shall wisely consider of his doing.
v10The righteous shall be glad in the LORD, and shall trust in him; and all the upright in heart shall glory.

With that said I think we have seen this sort of "He's the antichrist" stuff in the past with Bush, Clinton, Nixon and a few others.

Read Ezekiel 8-11 Revelation 13:16-18 is based on Ezekiel 8 and 9. The "mark" symbolized the spiritual condition of the inhabitants of Jerusalem. The ones with the "mark" were in allegiance with God. However, in Revelation, the mark is reversed. That is to say, the mark was on those who were against God and had allegiance to the "beast, from the sea", enforced, by the "beast from the land."
Wow! Hard to understand how this foolishness still finds an audience. Search scripture for truth and it is made clear who the beast of Revelation is. the beast of Revelation has been on earth for over 1300 years. Check out these sites for an accurate walk through scripture regarding this matter.
Don't look anywhere else but into "man made religion" for the beast is counting on the religious system to carry out it's agenda to deceive...and if it were possible, even the elect! Mark 13:20

OK, I'm just gonna say it. It amazes me how all of a sudden the first non-white president is the mark of the "anti-Christ" (if ever there was such a thing).
