Yep, my daughter doesn't do rituals or anything, but she does talk to her plants and animals and couldn't kill a flea. She won't even eat her own chickens when they get old and stop laying eggs, she lets them live until they die natural deaths and then has a funeral for them. She's a lovely weird sweet girl.

For new Believer who need to seek first the Kingdom of God and His rightousness and all these things shall be added ...Matthew 6: 33..... The things that she must do is to repent of all sin resist sin and Pray ``Father I ask forgiveness over all sin against my parents and plead the Blood Of Jesus Christ over this issue and Judge this for me. the need for me to go to this Church. and help me wait on the Lord In Jesus name``...

At home, her parents don't like the change they see in her: always reading the Bible, talking about Jesus, etc..
One day, she tells them that she wants to become a member of her friends' church, but they tell her that she cannot, not until she is 18, and can live on her own.

Should she ignore her parents decision, and go to the church, in order to please God?
Or should she "honor her mother and father" and not frequent the church as they told her?

Blessings!

She should accept Christ as her savior and Lord regardless if she attends church or not. Christ TRUMPS honoring parents.

I know this is NOT everyone's opinions, its just mine. I also told my kids that if they ever catch me serving another God other than Jesus, or doing anything outside of Christ NOT TO FOLLOW ME. I have lost my way. JESUS IS FIRST NO MATTER WHAT.

MY APOLOGIES....I misread. I see she is a Christian and on fire for the Lord. So she has accepted Christ that's the most important. Her going...I don't know. I still think serving God trumps honoring parents. but I can see her not going in honor of them, but accepting God is the most important.

Continue to read her Bible, and pray, but honor her parent's wishes, until she is 18.

I understand where the parents are coming from and I also understand the daughter, this is a tough one. The parents should let the daughter find her own religion and not force themselves on her.

All they can do is guide her and hope that she learns from them and finds what works for her.

Had a neighbor who went through this years ago. The mother was abusive in that she had to take care of her during her drugs/alcohol bouts. Her brother and sister abused her. Her father ignored her. They kicked her out, because she wanted to be a good girl and attend services. She moved in with me and my children. She was a delight the whole time she lived with us. Her family missed out on a lot.

I think serving God would be BY honoring her parents. Breaking a commandment is not serving God, but the devil. Sorry, I would definately disagree with you here.
