That verse is Certainly among the most powerful messages found in the NT - it is such an amazing statement. GOD MAKES the DEAD LIVE. The DEAD do not RAISE themselves up of their own will. Without Christ we can DO NO-THING!!! What a glorious and mind-blowing spiritual reality.
It is by Grace [His righteousness imputed to us] through faith that we are saved but never forget what produced that faith and why Grace is given.
GAL 5:6 "For in Jesus Christ neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision; but faith which works by love."
JN 3:16 "For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life." His proof of the work of love produced that faith.
