Far more powerful than just loving those who love us.

Jesus Christ proved the reality of this power.

Yes, love is far more powerful than just loving those around us. It is something that is passed on from generation to generation. Unfortunately, the opposite of love can be passed on as well.

I agree. But learning to love well those who love us is not a bad place to start.

It is that which exists:

"The SPIRIT did not breathe in us a Spirit of timidity or faint-
heartedness, but one of power, love, and good judgment."

It’s not what enters that defiles; but what is exhaled.

When we all learn how to BE love and not just do love, we can all do the same things Jesus did. We are human beings, not human doings.

Love IS !! Not a word, but an action. How can people say that they love God and not obey Him? It's impossible. Jesus loves mankind (not their sin), and His actions were the evidence of His love. Therefore, if you love God, then you will get rid of sin, not to serve it any more; your action is evidence of your love. But, if your love is in word only, then you will continue to indulge in sin, the forbidden fruit.
