The greatest sermon ever preached in my lifetime was this one by Martin Luther King Jr. who understood that the gospel of Jesus Christ was and is the gospel of peace. If you have never taken the time to listen to this message, you have missed out on hearing a great sermon, but there is still time for you to listen to the timeless message:

Wonderful post! It saddens me that only two people on a Christian forum, took the time to respond.

Martin Luther King Jr. learned wisdom by enduring suffering and responding to oppression in the way of Christ's example. He walked the walk of true faith. I am so thankful that his messages were preserved so that I have been able to hear them at a time when I can understand their significance in our time. The militarism and racism that remains in America is a stain on the soul of our nation. The people would do well to consider these things and repent. God is and always has been on the side of the oppressed.
