Amen!

There is one more person I'd like to add. Some of y'all may have heard of her,
Kay Arthur. She just teaches from the Word which she calls precept ministry. Very deep and thoughtful. My wife is currently going through one of her studies and the Lord is really changing her life through this study!

Is Joel Osteen considered an evangelist ?

What if Joel threw in a few threats of "If you don't believe watch out", or maybe condemned sinful life styles, told you God wants you miserable, slammed his bible on the pulpit, and other religious nonsense, instead of focusing on God meeting you in all areas of your lives and seeing only the best in you(the seed of God) and watering that, in the hope that some may hear, and the hearers attention turns from himself"that beaten down spirit of his, due to over exposure to the teachings of the church which as left him feeling totally unworthy, worthless and with no confidence before God",he turns his eyes away from his situation or problem and onto God so that faith might arise in him and he may enjoy being a believer again.

I know a lot of universalists are skeptical at the very least with Joel Osteen and the word of faith movement, and yes there are many of them that would fleece you blind, but as far as i am concerned there is more truth with them(even though i woud freely admit, it is often out of balance), then anything you hear from mainstream fundamental evangelical christianity.

Not that i ever listen to any of the faith movement boys today, but give me them any day over the likes of that bloke who is considered the big shot of Calvinism and all who adhere to his teachings.

I would say Reinhard Bonke and Keith Green. I understand a movie is being made of Keith Green's life!

Bob Mumford is also very good teacher.
