Promiscuity comes with its own risks, which are beyond the scope of this thread. But no consistent research is finding any risks in homosexuality, gay parenting, or gay marriage in and of themselves. Further, we know people choose to be sexually promiscuous. We do not fully understand whether homosexuality is something one is born with, a result of environmental factors and/or choice, or if it truly varies by person.

I may be a rare breed, actually. I agree that promiscuity is a bad choice. But there's nothing to confirm that homosexuality is either bad or a choice, so there's my reasoning anyway.

The Bible is the word of God - so , yes.

The truth is you can't actually put a finger on the Episcopal or Anglican Church. They are pretty much free to believe what they want so from church to church and pastor to pastor. What truth is to an Episcopal varies widely. It's not one church but many.

Scripture, Tradition and Reason - these are what most Episcopalians value. The inclusion of Reason is the part that distinguishes Episcopalians from denominations that emphasize dogma to the exclusion of all else.

I'm Jewish for starters. And all evidence indicates that's its meaning, as do most Jews now conclude that.

have you ever even read the Bible......doesn't sound like it to me.
Clearly more than you. I take it you admit you have no intention of actually listening to anyone else?

How about just state, "I will not change my views no matter what the evidence shows" so I can just put you on ignore.

Female temple prostitutes were condemned. Deuteronomy 23. Lesbians are not.

Incorrect. Heterosexuals engaging in pagan prostitution has nothing to do with homosexuality.

He said no such thing. No mortal is comparable to God.

Reason sounds really good in theory, but the result is no unity. Where are your smart guys? You know the ones that have PhD's in theology. They need to make a decision for the church so people can grab hold. Take a stand for God's sake. You've been around since King Henry VIII. That's enough time to decide what you believe in.

Tradition? I love tradition. Tradition precedes the Bible and Paul states that you should follow tradition and scripture, so that is very biblical. But whose tradition are you talking about? Catholic tradition?

Personally, I think all the liberal Anglicans and Episcopals should become Episcopal and let them do whatever they want. And all conservative Episcopals or Anglican Catholics should just become CATHOLIC! The Catholic Church has an actual place for all ex-Anglicans which preserves their Anglican mass, but is fully Catholic. You're so close. Come on home. We love and need you.
