What your saying is almost entirely true, however, I think it is important to recognize that even today's conservative Christianity is guilty of alot more cultural relativism (and perhaps general relativism) than any of us ever admit. Most of us will also never admit that cultural relativism is sometimes essential and perhaps even biblically sound because of the second greatest commandment. God is the only one who can truly see the absolute right and wrong of an action while there are many instances where we have to use our best judgment because the lines become blurred.
Old biblical cultural Practices/laws like Levirate Marriage, dowries, women marrying their rapist, and killing Children for dishonoring parents were technically never overturned in the new testament and yet they are considered practically insane by the modern Christian for good reason. Therefore, "relativism" should not always be considered a conservative Christian curse word even if it more often leads to tragedy and chaos.
All that being said, these statistics make me sad too. There is no Love benefit or honest benefit to society the more single parents there are; especially for the children
