You misuse this passage constantly. Jesus is saying, "the scriptures speak of me, and you never saw it."

Why would Jesus, and the apostles after Him, quote words written by fallen man?

If you have sen me you have seen the Father.

You would not know the green above if there was no Bible.

If there is no Bible - there is no standard - and people's descriptions of God would be all over the place.

I am asking you that since you do not believe in the entirety of the Bible - which you stated in your OP - why do you believe the Bible at all?

The title of the thread you created asks if the Bible the mark of the beast. Yet, you quote from as if you believe its contents. I just don't understand why you believe any of the Bible when there is stuff in there that isn't true (in your opinion).

Yet, even when they say, "we have done all these things and more in your name?"
Christ answers them, "I do not know you!"

It not a matter of what you associate yourself with; it’s who or what you believe about it.

Quoting something does not make it a hundred percent correct or right.
Of course, you would have to distinguish between the differences of right and wrong headed.
For what man believes, isn't always the truth.

Ever heard of the lying pen of the scribes? Ever heard of false prophets? Ever heard of learning to rightly divide the word of truth?

The lying pen of Scribes is in reference to the Scribes who wrote false commentary on what God actually said and meant. You can still read their false commentaries and so much more of todays false Scribes. Jesus took time to correct those errors and what they said, not the written word recorded by the true Prophets and Scribes of God. Because He is faithful He had the content of truth preserved. How do we know the truth? It is by the Spirit. If one can not hear [not audible] what the Spirit says then all is in vain. As Jesus said, "The Spirit and the word agree." Jesus knew that and always said, "It is written---"

The Spirit and the Word do agree, indeed.

Be still and know that I AM God.
