Thank you for sharing, Nathan.
Thanks for remind me to share what God has done.

There He goes again. Blessing me with your post! Just what I needed today. May God bless you for your faithfulness.

It is so important to share our love and stories with others
lest we become hard-hearted, eh?

I have not known fear or talk of fire to bring people (in my life) to God.
But, the peace and consistent joy we have is like a magnet for empty hearts,
In my experience, that is.

many of us are blessed but we fail to realize it. not all blessings take place in the physical world: money, house, job etc... He also blesses in the spiritual realms. This is when we learn to be loved by Him. There is a difference between knowing that God loves us, and learning to allow God to love us.
Once we allow Him, we begin to realize all the spiritual blessings that are within us.

If someone is seeking blessings, seeking His love, striving to depend on G-d, but are not experiencing "peace"...
I don't know if the suffering is physical or emotional so I will say "peace"....

First, I would say...when we ask or seek or strive there is something very imp to remember as part of the process.
God does not respond to whining or begging...He responds to faith.
So be sure your cup is empty and waiting to be filled with that which u asked for.
Have no doubt whatsoever...bec when you ask it is given.
If our cup is filled with worry, anxiety, fear, indignation, judging, envy, anger, revenge...
There simply is no room for anything He may want to give to you.
Your cup has to be empty and He must be approached like a child...with a guilless heart.

I would say, try babysteps to increase your faith or trust in your Father. Don't ask to win the lottery...but
Say, "Lord, You told me to give You my burdens, not to worry and to cast my cares...I can't find my car keys and I'm late already for my appt....please , I give You this burden...take care of me and this situation...I give you my tension over this."
Then, relax in your chest and watch what happens. Have complete faith, do not be double minded thinking.."He has the power to do the impossible...but I don't deserve this, He won't help ME."
You will then block His gift or grace or love to you.

Royalite, if u love Jesus, if u really trust him...do as he said like a soldier in battle never questioning your Captain.
He said, (Paul) Be anxious for nothing. You either practice this or you don't.
Which is it....follow your Teacher, Master, Lord...or ignore him, see?

Trust me when I say...follow every instruction of this brilliant Master...you will see if you do everything he said...even one instruction for one week, it has the power to change your life and renew your mind completely.
That is the power his instructions have...I can give you easy to follow steps if you'd like to help you follow his words...oh boy, it will be like a diff world for you as it is for me now....once I actually DID what he told me to do!!

Ha! Imagine that!
I find it odd that G-d would be unwilling to help us because we're worried, have anxiety, etc. I always have bad anxiety. It never goes away. Why does G-d have such rigid criteria for seeking his guidance, help, etc.? Generally, those times we're in the most despair are the times we aren't capable of having peaceful, patient faith. Those are the times we cry and beg for help.

It just seems very backwards and cold to me.

Well, if God or His ways seem cold to you, then it was me not explaning it fully....it's so hard to
cover all the bases when typing, sometimes.

Of course, our Father helps us when we cry or are desperate.
If I could say it in a better way...hmm...I have a friend that whines and complains, yet says she wants only God, for decades.
She is so full of whining and wanting it has become a "habit"....I mean decades!
It reminds me of someone crying to be saved in knee deep water. They cry and wail so much, no one can come near.

To receive we have to accept. We can't be given something if we don't even reach out our hand to take it, right?
But, with our Father....we could make an inch of reaching to Him and He would cross the Universe to us.
A little bit of faith and openness goes a very long way.

Does that explain a little better?
I'm sorry I confused you.

So if the next time you forget your wallet when you go to the store, are you going to think God has forsaken you if you dont find enough money for your trivial purchases?

I'm new here, so for the record for anyone interested....I always scroll past posts that
have an obvious attitude maybe to goad u into a debate or just to rile someone, anyone, period.
Anything without sincerity or kindness or lighthearted good clean fun
is not worth anyone's time, in my opinion.
Life's way too short.
Thank you.

And don't judge anyone til you've walked a mile in their shoes...
Because then you're a mile away...and have got their shoes!
