The same John said to love mankind but love not the friendship of the world with unbelievers.

Luke 16:9 vs. Matthew 7:6

Luke said to be friends with unbelievers for the sake of natural wisdom yet Matthew said not to even
entertain unbelievers which actually are bible mockers.

Another way of putting it is to be a friend with a neighbor in case your house get broken in but don't give the time of day to any bible mocker with religious questions.

So God was wrong to give his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.

God was asked how much do you love the word?

Then a cloud appeared and covered them, and a voice came from the cloud: "This is my Son, whom I love. Listen to him!"

And Jesus held his arms WIDE OPEN and died...

The Messiah testified that "the works of this world were evil", and The Apostles testified that "the god of this world", he who is "the father of lies", has "blinded the eyes of them that believe not"! (John 7:7, II Corinthians 4:4, John 8:44)

Loved the world in that Jesus died for all - 1st John 1:7 - but Not love the bad things of the world.

Jesus' ransom covers MANY - Matthew 20:28 - and does Not say all because Not all will repent - 2nd Peter 3:9

So, we love the world by telling the world about about the preserved memory and teachings of Jesus as found in Scripture.

"Our FATHER and GOD so loved the world that HE gave HIS Only Begotten Son, so that
whoever believed in Him should not perish, but have Eternal Life"! (John 3:16: 20:17)

And what did those of this evil world and/or religion's way do? (John 7:7, James 1:27)

They crucified The Messiah!

So it is that "whoever would be a friend of this evil world is the enemy of Our FATHER
and GOD"....... (James 4:4, John 7:7: 20:17)

Yet Thankfully, that which IS of The TRUTH Will Always RISE AGAIN!

Hope IS! there would be those who experience The Miracle that IS "receiving a love of
The TRUTH so that they might be saved" from their own self ("I", ego, id, pride) life.......
(II Thessalonians 2:10-13)

God is a "friend" of this works since he "so loves" the world, so is God his own worst enemy?
