Jesus has not yet destroyed the devil who has power over death , but Jesus has with people who are obedient been given the authority to claim the spirits and soul of those which by the cross of Christ and will protect their lives and soul and spirit beyond the life on earth ..............., God did not have the authority to claim people souls and spirits before the cross , and only by the direct lead of God that people saved by the promise of Jesus to come , as the angels and Holy Spirit were limited before the cross in the power to protect anyone .... See the power of the devil who has power over death will continue to the great Judgment of the last day ...........See when you see people dying in like in Syria, If Jesus does not have His spirit on people who are dying there , then the soul of these people will also die and their spirit will be collected by God`s Holy Angels and brought to a place not in heaven so to speak , and when Jesus has His Spirit on a believer , their soul and spirit will be collected and protected and brought to a place Jesus prepared for the development for eternal life with God ..........People may talk about the eternal hell because this is the fear of God and believers are called to help all to get their eternal life as the devil still has power over death for the sinner who reject Lord Jesus Christ ......God don`t change yesterday, today and tomorrow, and liberal thought will not heed the Lord in any way ....

Because anyone can still choose to believe in Jesus or not. If you choose not to believe in Him then you are choosing the tree of knowledge instead of the tree of life which is Jesus.

When Adam ate the fruit God told him not to eat he was not believing God's word to be truth when God told him he would surely die and look at the consequence he and the world to now and until Jesus' return has suffered. Rejecting Jesus is believing God's word to be a lie, which is blaspheme. When you believe in Jesus you are born again and receive forgiveness of sins. Jesus conquered death for us, but if you don't believe that then you don't receive forgiveness of sins. It has been accomplished, but will everyone receive it? Its their choice.

So are you saying the devil and the fallen angels will eventually end up in Heaven too? The lake of fire is a place, not death itself.
