Well my first reaction is, good grief are these craven fossils still alive? I remember Van Impe and Lindsey from before dirt was invented ... Van Impe was active in the 60's I think in fact, certainly the 70's. Lindsey was more a creature of the 70's.

Oh wait ... I looked Van Impe up; he died in 2020. Lindsey is 93.

My impression of both was that they were garden-variety posers.

Jack van Impe is also a kook, but he's an adorable, entertaining kook. I love his show. I've never detected a malicious bone in the man's body. I once saw him read an article about the latest Ferrari, and he "found" it in the Book of Ezekiel. That's right. According to Jack van Impe, the prophet Ezekiel foretold Ferraris. Stuff like that is why I love his show.

Oh he was a master entertainer and outrageous, but I thought he was supposed to be a minister of the gospel. Malicious? I wouldn't know if he meant harm or not.
