Without Jesus, there is no salvation....and yet, there is no salvation outside of the Catholic Church? So.....who is it that saves, Jesus, or the Catholic Church? Or Jesus, but only if it is within the tenets of the Catholic Church? It would seem from that statement, that the Catholic Church is putting itself right there on par with Jesus Christ-because it seems that the belief is you need both to actually be saved...... ?

He clearly stated Jesus saves.

And that------------ the RCC recognizes that others that are not Catholic can also be saved. They go as far as to include those that never knew Christianity through no fault of their own.

You are making an erroneous interpretation.

I didn't hear what the Monsignor said quite that way, but if I go along with you're interpretation that everyone is saved then there is no reason to remain or become Catholic.

You are very candid.

I assume you are a christian because you want something in return. You want immortality.

Why not live like Christ with no expectations? Why not be Catholic with no expectations?

Listen carefully at the 1.00 minute mark of the video. Pay attention!

Ahh....the old "anonymous Christian" heresy. No...if you don't place faith in Jesus, you will not be saved. Jesus said it--not me. (John 14:6). A person that is "living a good life" will not be saved without trusting Jesus. The fact is, none of us are able to "live a good life" (Rom 3:23).

Do you believe Jesus will leave behind all those innocent people that did not know Christianity through no fault of their own?

Do you believe Muslims and Jews will not be saved?

What innocent people? The Bible doesn't know of such a thing. (Rom 3:23)

Jesus said he was the only way to Heaven--and without him a person can't get to God. (John 14:6)

It's a shame that the organization claiming to speak for God doesn't have the guts to stand up and actually teach what Jesus said.
