I think I see your problem, Finn. When it is directed at a specific PERSON . . . it is judging and condemning . . . NOT when it is directed at generic beliefs. Disagreement about beliefs is not judging anyone.
The problem is entirely on your side, because now you are just making excuses for yourself. You don't see a problem with it when you do it, but judge others when they do the exact same thing. You judge people when you declare they are not followers of Christ. You judge people when you call them bibleans. You judge people when you call the bible worshippers. By your own argument talking about consequence of sin is passing judgment and condemnation, and yet this is something you to all the time. If anyone else does it you accuse them of judging and condemning. It's hypocritical.

Whatever his 'gist' might have been makes not difference and does not remove the heavy handed judgment from his words.
Why don't you quit your whining about being called a biblean(someone who professes that the bible is the infallible inerrant word of God), laugh if off like i do when one certain poster calls me an amigo, and add something worthwhile to the thread. You are not being judged or condemned and you are intelligent enough to know this too. After all the the topic is what happened to christianity, and when posters give what they believe as happened it is not going to be pretty and to your liking who thinks christianity is alive and kicking and spreading like wildfire.
Have you noticed it is only you complaining and making a stink about fundamentalists being seen as bible worshippers?.

It has nothing to do with me personally, and everything to do with contradiction, hypocrisy, self righteousness and anti Christian attitude in general.

Now, does anyone want to try to justify accusing these men of not being followers of Jesus or of being Biblians instead of Christians just because you disagree with them about Biblical inerrancy?
Absolutely. The idea of inerrancy and plenary inspiration, even if they were true place the emphasis on the letter rather than on the spirit and tend to make legalists concerned with exact meanings and interpretations rather than the spirit of concern for the well-being of everyone in any particular situation. It tends to put us back under law rather than love.

And it demonstrates the problem the OP brought up.

Well maybe the problem is among those who do as you say and ... among those who put the spirit ahead of scripture.
Such elevate themselves above scripture by claiming revelation, understanding different than clear scripture etc.
It is scripture as understood by spirit AND in harmony with other scripture, not in contradiction to it. After all, we all can read what is said but we can't all be sure our leading or anyone else' is truly from God. If we could there would not be thousands of churches.
What example in scripture do we have to show how to test the spirit?

Yet throughout this thread you have made it about yourself by making a fuss over being called a biblean(someone who believes the bible is infallible and inerrant), you feel it is rude and judgmental towards you.
