can we do one thing? Can we stop calling everyone who states that they are a christian, christians? I know that for this section of the website there is a different context there, but in reference to videos like this, i just think about luke 6:44. This is just complete nonsense. These individuals are out of order.
As I stated before, I find there approach to justification very questionable or downright flawed. But all these comments about them "not being real Christians" I find very questionable as well. After watching the video again, it seems not all of them are sure its a sin invoking the second greatest commandment and saying how swinging is not actually mentioned in the bible. In there minds (and in the minds of the Liberated Christians), Adultery is not Adultery when its with the consent of both partners because theres no betrayal and therefore fulfills the law of love...so thats at least a start, but still not where near Liberated Christian swinger bible argumentation..
..Anyways, even if they do think its a sin, they are using an "Ends justify the means" type argument by using it to spread the gospel, perhaps just as the torturers of the Spanish Inquisition (bet you weren't expect that! ) may have used it for their atrocious deeds, which I find much worse than anything these people are doing. But can we really say these people and those of the Spanish Inquisition aren't Christian and will be withheld from the Kingdom for simply being in error? (not quite so "simply" for the torturers I'm sure, but still) I'm not willing to go that far at this point... There are simply too many Christian denominations with too many differing beliefs and error potential and just because they get some thing wrong here an there doesn't neccessarily mean disqualification from heaven. We will all be judged either way but its the essentials that are most important.
