I was so pleased to see this. I despise what the ministry of Billy Graham has sunk into since Franklin took it over. He has declared war on businesses that accept LGBT people. He has shot himself and his "ministry" in the foot.

It is his attempt to do what many fundamentalist Christians spoke out against when some corporations decided to pull their business out of Indiana because of its attempted practice of statewide discrimination.

Those so-called christians follow Graham's footsteps in talking out of both sides of their mouths.
Quote:
Franklin Graham is calling on Christians to boycott corporations that feature same-sex relationships in their commercials. And he says he'll do his part by moving all the bank accounts for his two ministries out of Wells Fargo because of its ad featuring a lesbian couple.

"This is one way we as Christians can speak out - we have the power of choice," Graham wrote on Facebook over the weekend. "Let's just stop doing business with those who promote sin and stand against Almighty God's laws and His standards. Maybe if enough of us do this, it will get their attention."
Franklin Graham pulls Wells Fargo accounts over ad with gay couple

The add that Franklin objects to shows to women signing (deaf/mute) to a child asking her if she would like to go home with her new mommies.

While Billy remained silent on these kinds of things, Franklin ain't a chip off the old block. He's bought into the Jerry Falwell/Pat Robertson/James Kennedy expression of christianity--I suspect in hopes of regaining some of Daddy's glory by supporting hate tactics.

I didn't know God called on the Church to enforce social changes of the world outside the Church.

The world is going to become a very small place for these kinds of people.

So it is okay to boycott a bakery for trying to uphold traditional values, but it isn't okay to boycott a company that doesn't. We as consumers have the right to voice our distaste with our pocketbook, just as you do.

If you don't like what Franklin Graham stands for, then by all means, don't support him.

And what kind of people is that? How many kids did you send a Christmas presents to last year? Franklin's ministry delivers millions.

Were any of them gay children or children of gay parents?

If not, I rest my case.

Anyone can boycott anything they want for any reason. A boycott is not taking rights away from anyone. Boycott is our right to choose where we shop or patronize.

But, it seems obvious that people like Franklin are going to find themselves alone (as far as where to shop) since so many corporations are embracing ALL people, of all races, gender, creed, religion, and SEXUAL ORIENTATION...

AND, acknowledging any group of people exists and has a RIGHT to exists is not always endorsing it, but simply recognizing you have no RIGHT to stop them or tell them to go away.

The really sad part is that Frankln believes that he has influence social change with his daddy's millions... and not through pray? LOL

As does the United States Marines Corps. Come to think of it..... biker groups, including the so-called outlaw gangs, are BIG on toy drives. I've seen teddy bears strapped onto the back seats of Harleys ridden by color-wearing bikers on their way to a toy drive. Which is a pretty awesome sight.
