Did you mean "by their works you shall know them"? That seemed to be what the other poster implied.

If it's established that no one justified by works - and the just shall live by faith - why is there any debate?

Because the natural man continues to want to feel important, I guess. But God has crushed the Son, and I don't want to look at Him one day and say I didn't feel it was enough.

Absolutely correct, of course. But as the saying goes, "There is no such thing as a free lunch". People just aren't willing to accept the idea that they must not work for it.

Correct, faith gives birth to works. At the same time, without faith it is impossible to please God.

Grapes are not gathered from thorn bushes, nor figs from thistles, are they?
As the old saying goes, from evildoers come evil deeds; thoughts and actions.

Show me your faith without deeds, and I will show you my faith by my deeds.
In other words, giving and receiving require open hands, not glitched fists.

If you do not show up, how will you eat?
If one did not prepare it, what would you eat?

It's because of the work of another, that you eat freely.
Now, stop being so selfish and go to work.

Thankfully, Christ already did all the work for us. We don't have to earn it.
