How does all this bickering help the OP? Whenever I had a problem I went to the people who had the same problem and asked them what they did about it, how they handled it. This web site is one place to go and get answers from others who are in the same boat. If you want to know what others are doing, otherwise, don't open the site and just surmise.

The gay thoughts problem can be solved like any other.......recognize you are a sinner ( as we all are or were at one time) believe what God says in the gospel that Jesus the perfect sinless Son of God came and died for your sins, was dead and buried, and rose to new life on the third day. Believe that and the Holy Spirit will dwell in you forever and renew your mind (no more gay thoughts) and you may then go and tell others the gospel. Problem solved. Start with the idea that gay attraction is natural for some people and that a relationship with a same sex partner is no more "sin" than the same kind of heterosexual relationship and see where it takes you.
What if the idea that it IS "sin" is a misinterpretation of the intent of ALL of the scriptures that specifically mention same sex activity?
